Heater and A\C control cables

When I bought my car, the cables to the control levers were not attached. They were included in a box of extra parts with the car. I would like to get my A/C working before the drive to Monterey and am hoping tat someone on this list can provide some insight on how and where to hook them up. Picures help a lot.

Thank you in advance for helping to make the drive to Monterey bearable.

John,

These little cables simply locate in the holes of the chrome arms. I dont have a picture, but can tell you they are little buggers to get in. You will need a thin nosed pair of vice grips and some patience. The outer cable is then held down with a clip that slots in on one side, and is bolted on the other.

Where do the other ends hook up to? The old cables have been removed and the new cables were never installed by the previous owner.

Hi John,

I am up late again as always.. The three cables connect to the left hand side of the heater box. The hot and cold cable goes to the water valve, and the other two to the flap leavers. I cant remember which way around though. When you look at it you will soon figure it out.

When I bought my Pantera the cable to the heater valve was not connected and the other were connected to the wrong levers.

I can't remember where the cables go now (which is why I didn't answer sooner) - but I remember that it was an easy job and I got it all working in less than an hour.
