Increased cooling

What radiator did you use? Do you have any pictures?

Considering that Pantera deck lids are around $5K those louvers must be some of the most expensive around.

I used the radiator from Gary Hall,
part # G-2#4. I don't really care what the deck lid cost, Mike.

LAR, YOUR CAR MUST LOOK LIKE A "STARSHIP", AND I LIKE IT!!! IT WILL STAND OUT FROM ALL THE REST. NOT ONLY DOES THIS IMPROVE YOUR COOLING BUT IN DOING SO, IT RELEASES THE HIGH PRESSURE TRAPPED UNDER THE DECK LID AT HIGH SPEED, AND NOW YOU'LL BE HITTING AN EVEN HIGHER SPEED! YOU GOT GUTS BUDDY! Modifying our cars has been the Pantera mindset since day one...and it's great to see it's still thriving today. I believe this mindset is what truly makes us different from other marque owners...and one of the main reasons why I love the PANTERA!

I think Bob just about summed it up.It is YOUR car.Do with it what you like!I would personally LOVE to see pictures.Also,how much did it cost(the deck lid) and who did it for you?

My coment above was not meant to be negative...only that you can't really go back to original now (and, yes, who cares as long as it looks great!!). What is not great, is when someone does a funky job, with poor looking results, thus degrading the Pantera look, making it look cheap. We have all seen this with GT5 or group4 fiber fenders put on crooked with elmers glue or something by inexperienced workers. The work that was done would be great to share with others. Have a website or photos to share?

Hall used to advertise that they would do either the decklid or the hood and they had pictures. Looked awesome!!
I wouldn't do it to my decklid, but if I ever hit the lottery....

Thanks to everyone for their comments. I have known the man who did my louvers for over 30 years. He is a retired machinist and did the job as a favor. His work speaks for itself. He has a very old louver press his dad used in the 1950s while building "hot rods" The car, otherwise, is stock bodywise, and I had it painted Viper Yellow. The interior is a champagne grey. It is becoming a very nice car. I appreciate the help I have received over this net while rebuilding my P. Good luck and may God bless all.
