I recently bought a fan switch. They are common on Italian cars of the era. Mine was found at a parts store for Alfa Romeo, about $60.
Take a couple of pictures to send.

Find a similar Lucas switch and swap the plastic knob... easy peasy...

Bill, suggest looking for a Ferrari 308 hazard switch as a donor. Used should be about $50, but I see OKP sells a replacement now! Lee
ps. look for Lucas 34425E, used for fuel tank switching on Jaguar. This switch is probably also a good swap for the country/city horn switch. Its a simple DPDT, 6 pins just as they seem...use the complementary function on on/on position (when down, supplying power to the normal flasher--when up, disconnecting the power to that flasher but then connecting the power from F7 to the emergency flasher module.
Do not buy a used one if new onew are available, which they are.
The same part from Ferrari will probably cost more, do some research, they are out there, ALFA ROMEO, MASERATI, etc.
A strange switch to go bad as it is not often used. Can you have someone check it out? Are the wires hooked up correctly?

I’ve done a fair amount of research on the Lucas side managed to talk to a Lucas tech in the tech support group he informed me that it has been discontinued and none were left in stock. He was kind enough to put out a notice to their dealers asking if there was one left in stock. No luck. I asked if it could be rebuilt as I have the case and the toggle, missing a couple of springs and the brass sliders inside. They did not perform that service was his reply. I have yet to go into other English or Italian marques. I will begin to do so.
I want to thank all who have taken the time to offer their advise. Thank you
Bill
Bill, thanks--just curious--have you found anybody making just the old style knob? I haven't tried to re-graft the knobs yet (I suppose they are like old guitar tuning pegs, just add heat to the metal first and the knob pulls off). But have been curious if just the round knobs are available.
At least, the repros should fix you up electrically--Lee
Do you know the pinout?
What pin goes to what? Front Lights, rear lights, power, ground?
Is it a 2 position switch? Or is it 3?
Matt, funny you ask -- https://pantera.infopop.cc/top...gusta-wiring-diagram . I sure hope its right...
See some of the explanation under the breakout of "key on lighting" . Its a DPDT switch (2 position) that switches between the dedicated emergency relay and the blinker function...Lee
Thanks @leea I hadn't noticed that before, this is great!!!
@billpedersen and Everyone, seems like you could make one of these work?
Here is a current ebay link to one that looks like it would work.
Alternatively, you could use this.

and this
https://www.summitracing.com/parts/via-80237
so you could 2 step it to drive a DPDT relay...... pretty snazzy!!

Lee,
I remember seeing some for sale on a Maserati forum a few years ago.
Maybe we should just 3d print some.
This may be a solution, but way expensive:

These are Chrome, but could be a start:

but not as expensive as these:
Yes it looks one of the sites Lee suggested will work. Also I did download the schematic diagram from this site. EXCELLENT piece of work. I had it printed on a blueprint machine to about 2’ by 3’ very easy to read did not blur at all.
THANKS. again to everyone I believe my problem is solved

Bill,
I believe that I had a two position (on-off) fan switch go bad, no surprise....no relay in the circuit, now there is.... If you can find a regular DPDT or even a SPST (if it fits the wiring!) like the one in the post above a bit..... You can swap the top of the switch or just the knob & arm.
Trying to pull the plastic knob off would likely damage it.....but you can take the top of the switch off, push out the pin and put the entire knob and lever into the new switch.
Be careful though, Lucas was the master of building switches with tiny things & springs that fly to the deepest darkest corners of your garage or kitchen floor when you aren't paying attention!!!!
Good luck!
Steve
Hi Bill, I think Denis and others have you covered with those switches but if they are single position and you need 2 position (?fan?) then I bought some NOS in 2018 from Martin Robey in UK (I think they have US branch too). The switches are same as a Mk 1 Jensen Interceptor (and possibly CV8 too). The part number for the 2 position fan is CT 2481.
Also Maseratinet in Tacoma sell the 2 position, they also sold me a set of the stickers for end to identify what switch is for. I believe the switches and stickers re same on Ghibli
On the Robey part but don't have a photo on their website of part so you'll need to double check it's not the blade type. Occasionally they crop up on Ebay too.
The fans -should- have been 2 speed, but unfortunately just single throw..! You could always add a double-throw switch and a resistor if you wanted a second speed interior fan...all in all, just smarter to hook up a thermostat for the engine fans.
The single double throw (3 positions) switch is used for the headlights--so functionally, very common and shared with motorcycles. The emergency switch is a two-pole switch--originally this used the Ghibli fuel pump switch (that switches between left and right tank, but of course you want one or the other...just ask my brother who ran out of gas on one tank on his Cessna during the last minute on approach... ). So this is a 2 position switch but dual pole (2 fully independent circuits, as it switches between even the 2 different blinker relays used for ignition On and ignition OFF modes).
