Hi guys, does anyone know of a replacement brake booster for the Mangusta? I have the original one but it would need to be rebuilt. I was thinking if there was a booster from another car that would be a direct replacement would be a better way to go. If I could find one from another car that was either a bolt-in or need minor modification then it would be easier to replace later if necessary. I would like to get my car back on the ground soon but I thought finding a booster first would be a good idea. Any help is appreciated. Thanks. Greg

The genuine Pantera booster is the same as the Fiat Dino 2400 booster.
He is looking for one for a mangusta not Pantera.
I'm not sure of the details of the Mangusta booster but I sent my Pantera booster to these guys to rebuild and replate the cadmium. They did a great job.
They were very knowledgeable, might be worth giving them a call

Greg, I think we concluded that a Pantera part is a fine replacement (maybe even exact) for the Mangusta, if yours cannot be rebuilt.
...see here, if for no other reason than to see some really impressive skills at work... but a lot of good information on sorting thru the booster piece and also getting the right flares in the brake tubing.

Early Pantera used a master cylinder that looks a whole lot like the Goose, just a different bore...and used the same VW style reservoirs and feeds.
