Yes. HBD Marlin.

I saw that design of louvres but admittedly was influenced by the Miura. My set uses 10 slats.

It is somewhat interesting at how much louvres can vary for this application.



The other seduction that I ran into was the Lamborghini "Hurricane" (?)with the Z shaped clear decklid louvres.

It must be fun working for a company like that who encourages such abstract design and thinking?



I missed my opportunity with Tom. He had an interesting background and I always wanted to talk to him about things like that.

Yes, as I understand it, Mrs. DT was from "Jersey" and apparently politically influential as well and had some part in the US Federal Auto Regulations of giving imports of less then 5,000 units a year, immunity from certain regulations?

I'm thankful for that.

PanteraDoug, thanks for mentioning that piece of folklore. I have always been interested to know how true it is. The story seems to be hotly contested. It's also one of my favorite parts of a Goose is the little tag that says it's exempt from US DOT standards.
