Current NASCAR heads are C3Ls and you do NOT want to get into these things new! Cost from SVO was always around $650 each, bare, for the various models of alloy racing heads. Adding the myriad parts necessary to use them on your street 351C will run about another $12-1500, except for the C3Ls which are much more. First, C3Ls do not accept stud-mount rocker arms; only Jesel shaft mount rockers can be used ($985 a set). No intake will fit the C3Ls- fabricated intakes are usually used. For earlier SVO heads, there are cast open-plenum intakes available. One friend is into a set of brand new C3ls for about $5500, ready to go, on his 351C! A used, & assembled completely reworked set of aluminum NASCAR heads and an intake from a swapmeet is the only way to go; anything less than $2000 is a darn good price for such. Also note that no street exhaust system will fit except for Hall's custome built ones, due to the repositioned exhaust ports & mouting bolts.
