As Ray Davies sang, "she nearly broke my ribs". No folks. "She" ain't my kinda girl. "Not no way, not no how".

The Kinks always did find unique perspectives. "Low budget" always gives me great laughs, then makes me sad...because it sounds like me too? Eeker

You know what I think............

More Cowbell!

PS> In this forum, you don't have to write those two paragraph disclaimers that you now add to every post! Big Grin
Doug needing to seemingly add disclaimers to literally EVERY "1" of his posts, is because Doug doesn't want to be "Misunderstood"...Mark

In disclaiming Rocky, I just want to clarify my position. Logically to some people if I state that "if you set yourself on fire, you will get burned"is an "ism" from the "old" days, as in you need to be born before electricity was discovered, is an unscientific statement and just my opinion.

So there being so many here who have no idea what a Pantera is, just wound up owning one because it came along with the property, such as the tractor, the cotton picker, the irrigation pumps etc, and actually thought it was some kind of a pickup truck because the hay bales fit so well across the back of the deck lid, that it helps if I point out to some that the spark plug heat ranges are only a few clicks either way from stock which actually could be researched and looked up "scientifically" from spark plug application charts?

Some individuals here feel that there is a real danger in someone taking the spark plugs out of the chain saw and attempting to install those in the engine and they need to interject that into the discussion? OK. I suppose that is scientifically accurate?

Furthermore, it really must piss them off endlessly that anyone here may actually have been alive at the same time that MM was or actually listen to recorded music from that era by choice, not modern techno geek and pisses them off even worse that someone still does? Huh? Maybe they should see someone about that?

Makes me wonder why they would even be interested in a vehicle that was manufactured as a '70s anything in being 20 years before they were even born?

Doesn't explain in the least either why they would be so seriously interested in owning a replica of "General Lee", the Dukes of Hazard car, or a NYC Checker taxi cab with a Hemi in it. or an LAPD retired black and white (with a functional siren and flashing lights)?

Kind of reminds me of Hans speach where he says John McClain is another, let's shorten it and say "dillusional American"? Accent and all.

Incidentally. RR chicken sucks and his sequined shirts AND scarf were cool? I liked Trigger too. Go figure? Wink

Arthur Treacher's "Fish & Chips" were "spot on" though?

Oh well? So sorry Rocky if I "disclaim" too much now.

Just goes to prove at heart I am just SO selfdisclaiming? Big Grin

Sorry Rocky, but corrections are in order to maintain the razor-like sharpness & surgical precision that is the foundation & hallmark of participating on the highly coveted & prestigious "Doug's Forum".

Firstly "Everybody Knows" that Al Gore invented the Internet!!!

Everybody Knows...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lin-a2lTelg

Secondly Abe Lincoln NEVER visited England as Abe was afraid of FLYING!!!

GHEEEEEEEEEEESH!!!...there is more ill-conceived fabrication posted by Rocky, than a room full of 5 year olds playing with Legos!!!...Mark
