I am currently refurbishing the mechanicals of the car and I have a few questions for you gurus.

- I require a parts cross-reference for the brake booster, brake master, clutch master , clutch slave and the calipers

- What is the core difference between Pantera GR4 , GR3 , GTS and Pre L brakes? Are there any signs or part numbers that would allow me to tell them apart?  Any cross reference for these? Was told they came from an alfa but am not sure

- Looking for rear Axle nuts , they seem similar to the Merak item. Anyone can confirm ?

- I was told that the steering rack and ignition barrel are similar to some Ford or Lincoln Mercury model ? What model is it ?

- I am looking for a set of 8's and 10's Campi's to go for the original look. Again i believe that GR4 calipers won't fit and I would be restricted to GR3.

- If I go the refurb route, are there any reputable shops in Europe that can service the

- Girling calipers

- BendixBendItalia brake booster?

- Koni suspensions?

- Steering rack

- If I go the DIY route , anyone got kits for all of them so I do them myself?

Many Thanks

P

the steering column was shortened for use in our cars. It originally came from a Mark I Capri.

that includes the ignition assembly and the turn signal stalk. Reproductions of the stalk are now available for about $250. The ignition housing is difficult to find, lock tumblers can be purchased from Wilkinson, and the electrical portion can generally be found with some looking.

I believe that the steering rack is the same as a Ferrari 308 with only a slight modification.   The area where the 2 clamps bolts on has to be filed down a slight bit to match the old Pantera rack.    The rest is identical.  Tie rod ends even fit from your old tie rods.   I installed these racks in both of my Panteras.  No problems!  And I believe that they're cheaper than a Pantera rack too.   Usually a bunch on Ebay.
