The most interesting sort of political thing I’ve seen lately is my neighbor trying to scrape the “W” sticker off the back bumper of his Jag with a razor paint scraper. I’ve always thought he was a total dipstick so I just watched from a distance. It looked like the scraper cut into the paint pretty badly and then he went for some sandpaper and then used some spray can paint but that really messed it up. I have no idea why he was so determined to get that “W” sticker of the car because as I recall he thought it was pretty cool when he stuck it on there a few years ago.

Larry, thanks a lot for your statement. I thought Amerika was already lost. With people like you it will grow again to a great nation. I learned some day from a homeless in SF: The greatest nation in the world is not Amerika, it's the DONATION.
Roland, whow hates any war

Roland, so when did America stop being a great nation?

Josh
Panteradoug,

You have a valid piont but I think this started out as a topic with a PATRIOTIC TONE. I was very happy to hear the perspective of ROLAND.

Forgeiners cant understand how young people can VOLUNTEER to go fight a war. All other countries have a draft.

TIMES SQUARE the day after the TRADE CENTER, was packed with young people ENLISTING in the ARMY. WHY !! Its a GREAT NATION !

If you see the MAGNATUDE of what happened in LOWER MANAHATTAN. You would support BUSH thru and thru everyday until his term is over. Whether you like him or not. Those buldings were enormous and when they were down was a sight that leaves me speechless. Sorry for this statement ... but someone had to pay for that.

I will leave this one alone and not have the last word. So be it !

That my dear friend, is hilarious....

Hi George.
Back on the board after a few days, I am not surprised about this debate.
To avoid this, I asked you last Friday, if you think to be on the right board.
You are a great moderator with a lot of knowledge about our cars, but it's not the same to post a "Pub Song" or themes like the Iraq war, Mr. Bush or politics in general.
This is an INTERNATIONAL car forum for people all around the world, so I think it is the wrong place to post such a content.

Interestingly, this particular post was not about the Iraq war, but a question to the members about my boundaries. Not surprisingly for this group, it got off topic onto the Iraq war.LOL....

I would like to compliment everybody, that in spite of the controversial subject, there has been no disrespecful interchange of words, everone has been very civil towards one another, and shared their opinions in a mature manner, BRAVO guys!

Franz your viewpont regarding the appropriateness of my previous post, regarding the tribute to the US troops, has been noted. I value your advice, and acknowledge it has merit. Although we have freedom here in the pub to broach any topic, with freedom comes responsibility, I do not want to disrespect the sensibilities of our international members.

your friend on the DTBB
