Rear unsprung weight

One vendor, Pantera East in FL, just started offering true e-brake caliper kits, cable-operated, for aftermarket rotors. There's a complete review in the March issue of your POCA newsletter, with photos. in '97 I wrote of adapting Wilwood go-kart calipers to my stock-sized ventillated rear rotors. It took a milling machine, welding equipment and several weekends to do this. I suggest e-mailing Marino at Pantera East for info [marinoperna@ij.net]

Incidently, for those interested in putting your Pantera on a diet plan, I also wrote an article in the Spring '97 P.I magazine about removing some 300 lbs from our '72 L Pantera, as a project to drop both sprung & unsprund weight while still keeping all the stock functions intact. I reviewed the article in the March 2003 POCA issue and updated it with whats happened weight-wise in the last 5 years to our L model, and my future plans.
