A year ago both of my window switches bit the dust within a week of each other. No problem i will use the handy dandy DeTomaso hand tool to crank them down.... doesn't work because both plastic window gears are broken... old plastic breaks easily. Next step replace the gears with with new brass ones...done. Ordered new switches from Bosch... they don't fit in the opening, iam not going to try and make them fit. Many phone calls later lead me to Collectors Choice in Wisconsin , a Pantera vendor from the past. They said they would rebuild them at a $150.00 a piece!!!! More phone calls... I got lucky and found two NOS switches from Pantera Performance in Colorado. If you are not concerned with originality Bosch switches are the way to go. Rebuilding 35 year old plastic... i hope it works, i still have my old ones. I was told Panteras do not have a bypass relay for the window switches. Therefore when your window is all they way up or all the down do not keep pressure on the switch or you will burn out the contacts.
