Replacing fuse box?

Is there a drop-in fuse box replacement that allows the use of modern fuses? Every once-in-a-while I have to open the cover and jiggle the existing "chicklets" in order to get accessories to work. Not concerned about originality, just want something reliable.

At least two options are available;

The PPC Reno (Larry Stock) version that takes an exising fuse panel and epoxy's the blade fuses in place of the ceramic fuses. Cost ~$300 I think. Benefit; Direct swap

The Bob Timma version that is a Nissan fuse panel with 20 fuses to allow separating some of the loads etc. This version uses pigtail wiring to connect to your existing Lucas loom wires and comes complete. Cost $125 from Bob, Benefit; Cost

There are several. One uses the stock fuse block and modifies it to accept the blade type fuses. Another uses a Japanese fuse block and another combines the fuse block with several relays. Do a search here and on the deTomaso BB http://realbig.com/pipermail/detomaso/ for details.
