For those that sent me the info/payment for stickers, I sent all the orders in to the seller last Friday.

I suspect you will receive your orders in the first week or so of May.

Contact me if you have not received them by May 20 or so.

Larry

For those interested but not in on this initial ordering, please contact the seller directly and arrange your own purchase. Here is a link to a current eBay auction for the sticker that got my initial attention. You can contact him through eBay "ask seller a question"

Got mine yesterday - JUST FABULOUS. I didn't take my camera to the car today, darn it, but the area shown in the pic above shows a 'rough finish' in front of the radiator shroud, leading to body color.

My 74 is body color from shroud forward (no rough area). I plan to put the sticker in the same position as shown unless someone tells me differently.

Thanks again for spearheading this project.
I forgot to send my request/payment when this first came up on the board, so I plan to place an ebay order now. Which sticker is more correct for a mid-late 72 pre-L with July build date; 2-line or 3-line?

Also, does anyone have the color code handy for yellow? It looks like "GIALLO DT 502" from the image above. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks!
Garth

I was looking at an old R&T aticle and a pic of the front trunk shows the sticker as in Larry's shot.

#07059 is now the official "douche bag". roll on floor

Hey Jeff, thanks for the info. I puy my sticker exactly as shown in the photo. Since I was messing with the car, I decided to drive it around some - and the sticker made my car faster.

This is off topic, but the car attracted so many 'thumbs up', kids taking cell phone pics, and AutoZone parking lot inquiries that it still amazes me. I went to our local Hobby Lobby to pick up a couple things for Mother's Day and I promise, when I return, a guy in Blazer has gotten out of his car and is filming the Mean Green (aka 'douche bag') Pantera.

Can't let an off-topic comment go unrewarded ...

Was he panning the camera to try to keep up with the car?

Apologize if this has already been asked, but is it more appropriate to have a paint sticker that reflects the original colour of the car (in my case, Orange), or the current colour (metalic red)? (I only ask so there is some topic-related content in my post) Wink
