At this price I will get a 192 also.

I have read various threads on which is better 180 or 192. I have not pulled my OEM thermostat
does anyone know what was stock on the Pre-Ls ?

I may be wrong, but I've been told that the "Pre-L' was a 180 degree.

I don't remember what temp rating my '71 OEM thermostat was, but the orange parts book only shows the 192 degree.

what a timely subject, went out with my wife on a cruise-date four weeks ago, took the P car didn't get far, temperature gauge shot up quickly, coolant level OK must be the thermostast, ordered two 333-180 thermostasts from Flow Kooler, still haven't arrived. Flow Kooler told me, there's a problem with ordering/shipping because a new corporation purchased Robertshaw. Price is $16.99 each
