I needed a ladder and flashlight to look at mine high on a shelf. I don't carry it in the car. My spare has two stickers on it. They appear to be white paper stickers. The small one in red and black print reads , caution do not use snow chains. The larger sticker reads about mounting procedure, air pressure, vehicle speed and procede to the nearest service station. Sorry for the lack of photos. Chuck
FWIW, most present-day owners probably won't know that the original BFG folded-sidewall space-saver tire was subject to sidewall cracking so serious that they were all recalled while the Pantera was still in production. So I wouldn't be surprised if there are a multitude of different stickers to be found on the 14" x 6" steel Ford wheels- which incidently won't clear larger brakes if you carry yours. I'd also be surprised if any of the stock inflator cans still have gas in them after almost 40 years.
Jeff, the best solution for total tire failure is to buy or upgrade your Automobile club membership to the maximum tow range, have cash and credit cards. For slow leaks in the middle of nowhere buy the biggest can of puncture sealant you can find. The can of sealant will not do the job if the tire bead is broken. That or carry two different size spares, one for the front, one for the rear. A 34 year old tire, canister and a tire pump forget it,it will not work. CHUCK
Mine has no stickers of any kind. There is no indication that it ever did. My best guess is that maybe it had the paper type that fell off .

From what Jack stated it appears that with the recall either type(paper/vinyl sticker) would be correct. I probably will go with the vinyl repro from Mustangs Unlimited. If you find a source for the paper ones please post.
Jeff
