My rack bushing feels fine (no play up and down)but the steering doesn't feel smooth.If you jack the car up and turn the wheels you can feel it seems to get tight in certain spots.It is nothing drastic but it is there.Earlier this summer I test drove a "for sale" Pantera.The owner told me he had taken the car to the local Mr Tire and they had rebuilt the steering rack.This was BY FAR the best working and smoothest rack of any Pantera I've ever driven!My question is ,What could they have done to his rack to make it feel so smooth?After all,it is a manual rack and there really isn't that much to it .
