Looks a bit better now.
Refurbished the alu-cover. Painted it in the same satin black as the rest of the air-box, and grinded of the paint on top to show of the script. Since it looks quite good now (at least I think so) and next, I will bolt the 180's on it, I'm not sure I want to cover it at all, and just make the stock side covers look a bit nicer, and leave it like that.

Have decided to work a bit more on the front air dam. Started with a piece ment to mimic the one of the BMW ProCar M1, but it would need GT4 fenders to not look to "heavy", so I cut it up, and made it both shorter, and narrower. Still, it differs from the normal no flares GT4 dam by reaching a bit further forward at the bottom. Thinks it looks just as agressive as I wanted, and have to say I'm pleased with the way it has turned out.

It looks awesome! I like it!
I really like the lower lip on your front air dam. It makes the car look very aggressive.
When you get a chance please post some more pictures from a distance.

Will try to have it painted later this week, and will post when it is done.
Painted it OUTSIDE the garage today... Turned out to be much better than the rest of the car, so I will need to spend a few days to wetsand and polish the car to match the air-dam. Hopefully, it will be mounted and ready to the weekend.

I like the beach chair restoration stand
You'll probably have to put in a metal support under the center area to prevent it from vibrating at speed. I bonded in a thin metal strip with panel adhesive. It's solid now. Advice from Dennis Quella.

Have bonded in a material like that they use in surf-boards on the 2" lip (marked red) making it a sandwich, and a cross in the center, so I guess that should be enough

Yeah? Nice to have matching chairs to bring to the meetings

Just have to adjust it 1/3" back so it will follow the wheelhousing:

Making my own "radio delete plate". Will house a voltmeter, and the clock I have ordered.

Same switch-guard as in the space shuttle Well, not the correct $800-a-piece magnesium item, but a alu copy..

The radio-panel will hopefully match this panel I have from PIM:

Great idea!
First ever try on doing this.... Ok result, but not worse than what I can live with this season.

A friend that is a "bit" better than me with the camera took a few photos of my car after my first carmeeting with the car.

Excellent stance and rake.
I think yours is about as low as mine, which is a look I like.
Congrats on a great looking car!

Your car and photos have turned out beautifully.
I imagine that in Norway your car is a spectacularly unusual delight for fellow enthusiasts. Nice work!

Testfit of my carbon hood. Now, all I need is a carbon rear deck, ving and some GT4 flares...

your car has definitely become YOURS! How sweet is it to look at that gorgeous car...get an idea, implement it and the results are a unique auto just the way YOU like it! Pantera's are kinda cool like that

Don't forget to add several thousand dollars for new wheels with a different offset. Your car looks great!
Mark
Thanks for that.
I'm considdering GT4's in 15" x 10" and 14" instead of the modern 18's I have. Since they are nowhere to be found, I might need to have them made..... Not cheap, and not happening this summer, but when winter arrives again...

Self-made again, or ordered?
How about the hinges and the lock?
Self-made. Bolts as original. Machined piece in alu that holds the pin so it locks as original.

Nice work again then. Bravo!
And I'm with you in regard to the wheel size

Very cool. Are you really planning to install a wing?
Ron
If I find some 13" - 14" wide rears, and because of that need flares, I might go the "race" rout. But first I need a carbon rear lid.
So, after a FANTASTIC weekend at the Le Mans Classic, looking at the race panteras, what have I decided to do? Probably not my smartest move.......

Nice! Widen that puppy! However, one more stock body Pantera bites the dust.
First testfit of what will be mine Gr4 fenders.
Looks loke I will need some spacers.....
Or fast get my 15"x14" Halibrands.

I see the stress crack at the lower corner of the taillight-if you are going to add flares, it would be a good opportunity to make the body resistant to flex.
