Haha - I thought about it when I tested the car in november on my trip to SoCal. But I don't know yet. Would like to get some more power, though.... But don't know if I should build one next winter or just replace it and sell the one that's in it now. It runs perfect, but I could use 150 HP more....

For the same money I think you could rebuild your existing engine with higher quality components. I'm sure Dan Jones and George Pence can offer specific suggestions for components.

Dan Jones can spec a cam for you that will likely deliver better performance, and performance tailored to your desires - high torque, long flat torque curve, etc. - whatever YOU want!And, you can likely build it for less. Just a thought!

- Heads are ProComp (Chinese knock-offs of CHI heads) I believe - notice they never mention the brand.
- Pistons are cast, maybe hypereutectic, but not forged (if I recall correctly - I looked into these when I started my rebuild 4 years ago)

Stop light drag race... I lost, kept the engine now my baby is on the bottle. 
Hum the ad says that it has oil modification to keep the oil suppy up. I wonder what they are doing to it? I followed the formula that Geroge Pence had posted up some time ago for a 500 hp 351 (no stroker). The final price was well above the E-bay ad. I did however have the block sonic checked, bored 30 over, decked slightly, balanced, resize rods, polish crank etc. I have $1000 into machine work alone. I installed the lifter bore bushing and the oil galley plugs. The heads from Trick Flow cost almost $2000. Once you add the ignition, intake etc you will be at $7000. I do not believe at that advertised price you would be receiving a quality engine. The numbers dont add up.
spray it like joe said. 150hp more is power adder blower/turbo/nitrous or stroker/worked heads kind of increase in power. You will not get that with that ebay special motor.

They're in Phoenix and local for me. I'm having them build me a custom 408c with chi 3v heads and matching intake. Hope to have it running by the POCA Rally next month (April 2013). My buddies are betting against me and I'm pretty slow! ;-) Just picked up my intake and valve covers from the powder coating place. Did them in "Super Chrome w/Clear". Looks pretty good. Damn sure I don't want to polish another set of valve covers after driving in the rain back from an event.
