Thanks guys .. what are they made of Stainless or Mild Steel ??

Mark I'm not happy with the water bottles ..I think the method use it old technology .. all you need is an air seperator and a expansion tank ...as we were discussing in another post with George ... I have to do some research .. I have my eye on a little set up that may work.

But back to the water neck I'm happy to here they are available for my new motor.

Mine was stainless steel

Also because of the way the coolant tube makes a sharp right out of the block the factory by pass cannot be used and is blocked on my Windsor water neck. I ran a by pass from the water pump the top of the intake manifold threaded water tap. So that a little water could circulate before the thermostat opens.

When I fabbed mine, I welded a 90 degree elbow on the flange to handle the bypass. Sorry Ron, cant find any of the sketches from the piece parts. It was a one off.

Thanks Kelly ... I remember the picture ... I thinks its a great fabrication and I'm determined like you ... to include the bypass .. its not that hard with exception that in the welding process the distortion of the flange is my concern. Its also a little tight to weld. But very nice and I happend to have a pile of 11/4 SS tube and Short raduis 90's in my shop left oever from a job we did. I'm going to give it a shot.

Thanks for the pic.

Ron
