Wanted- Pair of Meriha Fans

I was looking for Meriah's too, but didn't want to swallow the $385 price tag, and I couldn't find a manufacturer for them online. Therefore, I concluded they come from another application and have been adapted to (or custom developed for) the Pantera. But, I did find Cool Cat fans. They cost a lot less than Meriah's, and they're popular with the Jaguar crowd:

I started looking into these but ended up rebuilding my original Lucas fan motors (new wiring, brushes, paint, etc). The Cook Cats look similar in size to the stock fan motors, but I didn't check actual dimensions. They also have a much more aggressive (effective) fan. Let us know what you find out, and if you go with these.

Thanks for the information. I bought a set about 3-4 wks ago on ebay. Fans are in good condition. Had a cracked blade that probably happened in shipping. Epoxy fixed the blade. I paid 70.00 + about 18.00 shipping.

Thanks also for the info on Cool Cats. Talk to Jerry at PI. His used Meriah fans look nice. The last ones I tried to buy, he wanted about 125.00 if I remember correctly. I don't know where he gets them but he seems to have another pair about a week or two after he sells a set. A friend here in Indy also has a P-car & we both converted our fans.

I understand the new POCA mag. features the INDY P-cars, I have not seen it.
