Hi- I'm new to the Pantera's and i'm the market for a decent solid car to drive and enjoy. No trailer queens I've had enough Shelby's that I never enjoyed because they were to nice. Any leads or advice would be appreciated. May be willing to trade my "65 Mustang Fastback - Vintage race prepped with NOS everything....

Let me be the first, but not the last, to welcome you! Several good websites to introduce you to the Pantera. PanteraPlace website is a good first start. The POCA website is also a good introduction, with weblinks. What is your location? If you're serious about a car, maybe someone on the site can help out with an inspection.
One mans trailer queen is another mans driver! I know of a few cars listed on this site alone, that show like trailer queens, and go for a lot less than a Shelby Smiler
Welcome aboard Shelby1962, I think you found the right place to find a car, not that mines for sale Big Grin, look through some of the more recent posts (within the last month or so) there are some deals to be had.

First - thanks for the welcomes to the group. I am in western New York and started looking a few months ago. Been trying to educate myself on the quirks of the Panteras. So far- Rot from the inside out, wiring gremlins(thanks to Lucas)window motors, lack of available parts(compared to Shelby's) Pricy suspension parts, cooling/ lack of and weak half shafts. Any thing major I missed?
I would prefer a private seller and not over inflated dealer prices. Any help would be appreciated..Thanks
