My window is stuck in the fully down position and using the window switch does nothing. The plastic emergency crank just spins. I replaced the window switch with no luck. So I think I need to replace the motor. However I can't access the screw on the regulator window actuator arm in order to remove the motor. Any suggestions on how I can remove the motor?

It could be a stripped nylon gear. Replace it with a brass gear. On Ebay all the time. If it is the motor and you can't find a stock replacement one and want a better solution, then you can go to an electrical parts store and get a 12v universal reversible motor. The one I used had the same bolt pattern (identicle) but the shaft was about 1" too long. I just cut it down. The shaft was also the exact same size so the rubber connector fit right on, even over the flattened part of the shaft. I bought mine at a place called Auto Marine Electric, but that is in canada and may not be in the US. Never hurts to ask. (Silly question also: you checked the fuse? - fuse connection?)
Panterapatt - Yeah I already tried pushing in on the plastic emergency crank and turning it with Phillips screwdriver, but it just cracked in two.

72panterasteve - In addition to replace the window switch, I did check the fuse. I have bought the Taurus motors from O'Reillys to do the conversion discussed on Pantera Place website. Issue I am dealing with is since the window regulator (lift arm) is in the fully down position, the window lift arm attachment screw you need to remove to be able to remove the regulator is sitting in the bottom of the door well and I can't get a screw driver in there to remove the screw.

So wondering if anyone has an idea how I can get the regulator up enough to access that screw or how else to get motor out given my predicament.
