I am thinking of having a Windsor stroker built for a Pantera. It would be a 408 stroker, 4 Bolt main, Dart Aluminum block, forged steel crank, forged h-Beam connecting rods, arao 32 valve aluminum heads, a cross ram EFI.

Can anyone please let me know what problems or issues I need to consider when mounting a Windsor in the Pantera vs the Cleveland? Will it fit no problem?

I have not tried this fairly popular swap, but I'm told there are only a few issues. The two biggest are, your stock exhausts will not fit since the heads & ports you plan to use are completely different and are positioned higher up, the Windsor being a taller block, and the accessory drive bracket for the Pantera AC & alternator is for a Cleveland so it doesn't fit the Windsor. The bellhousing bolts on, the same clutch and I think the flywheel can be used and the stock motor mounts can be adapted. Most of the hoses are OK as well.
