ZF Transaxle question....Need pricing info?

My friends father has a ZF sitting in the garage, bolted into a kit car frame made around 82-83.....There was never a motor bolted to the bell housing, and was purchased new from Ford, so he says........Type 5DS-25-2

Any ideas on the value of this....Or what he should ask to sell it.......he will probably list on E-Bay, i was just looking for some info........hopefully you could help....
