Why are there always 2 different cooling tubes, 1 one lenght tube and 1 two lenght tubes (connectet togheter whit a hose) under neath a Pantera?

It has been awhile since I did the exercise; however, I believe the reason for two tubes on one side is extraction of the tubes with the stock parking brake bracket in place. It's location creates interference with a longer tube. JT
