Do the spring rates sound ok for a street driven car?>f so,how do you like them?
Ant input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ron

I run 350lb front 450lb rear 12inch springs. QA1 shocks, 16 settings. Think about the ride height you want. I run 17s and have lowered the car 4 inches from stock. The rear feels very good but I'm still playing with the front settings. If I could do it again. I would think about a softer spring all around, but a shorter spring. That would stiffen the ride a little but allow more height adjustment in front. As it is now the front is at the lowest ride height and the spring cap has to tied off just in case I un-weight the wheel.
Anyway the springs dont cost that much and Konis tend to ride a little stiff. Theres some measuring to do to figure out which combination to use.

Remember there's a little more to installing adjustable ride-height coil-overs than simply bolting them in. No matter what starting height adjustments you do external to the car, be prepared for a long round of adjusting/readjusting of your ride heights on all 4 corners of the car. First thing you find is, adjusting the right front height also changes the left rear, and to a lesser degree, the left front. So you tweek these two a little and find that now ALL the other heights have changed,.... These units are real race-car parts. Ideally, this should be done with the car on a set of 4-point scales so the corner weights can also be adjusted for best handling. And when you're finished, you get to have all four wheels realigned. The wheel alignment will only change your hard-won ride-height adjustments a little. Figure on burning up a whole Saturday doing this. Send the kids to the park so your loud use of Magic Words under the car won't shock them. But once finally done, the car will handle perceptibly better and the final settings won't change much over time. Of course, then there's the bump-&-rebound damping adjustments to fiddle with....
