I've got the white faced gauge kit from Hall and I think it looks cool! It looks especially good against Hall's Burlwood kit. The gauges are easy to read and very bright, except the tach & speedo since they are your original units and all you do is change the face, which means they have to come out anyway and you can put in the brighter bulbs at that time. Changing the faces is not real difficult, you carefully bend the tabs on the back of the chrome bezel and unscrew the original faceplate and screw the new faceplate in its place. The tricky part is the needle, since I did mine, it reads about 20 miles per hour higher than I am actually going. I thought that I had gotten the needle back on the stop post but I must be off by a degree or 2. (one job for the near future)You also have to change all of the senders, including the gas sender which means taking out your 1/4 glass to get to that sender. That is the only gauge I am having a problem with, it never reads more than 5/8's full. I spoke to Bev Hall and she said send her the sender and she will send me a replacement. (another job) Since the Burlwood kit had an additional 2 gauge holes, I moved the oil pressure gauge next to the Tach and put an oil temp gauge next to the speedo. In the center console, I have the clock, fuel, H20 temp and amp gauge. One last thing to consider, the gauges all have black bezels unlike your speedo and tach and stock switches which are chrome. I had to go to 2 different dealers to get a black bezel for the speedo & tach and got 1 from each because that was all they had at the time. Hall at one time advertised a complete set of replacement switches with black bezels but they have been discontinued and the suggestion is to paint the bezels black since they are chromed plastic. I haven't tried this yet.
