I am in the process of buying a virgin set of A3 heads for a mild turbo/EFI 351C that I am building for my 1973 Mercury Cougar convertible.

I'd like to find an unported version of the matching A3 intake manifold or something else that closely matches up. From the info I've been able to find, the Ford Motorsport intake cast by Edelbrock (Torker version of the M-9424-A331) is the one I want. Does anyone have one for sale?

Also, I currently have a Weiand X-Celerator 7516 (single plane, 2V ports) that I purchased from a Pantera owner/Dynoshop operator here in Omaha (goes by EJ, not sure if he's a member of this group). He had it bunged for EFI and ran it on one of his Panteras. I'd like recommendations on an outfit that could do similar modifications for an A3 intake manifold when i find one.

Thanks!

I have an M-9424-A351 that was "bunged" for me by Wilson Manifolds. These manifolds were made by Roush and since the C302B heads were current when they were made, the ports are slightly smaller than the older A3's intake ports. I would part with it but I'm not sure if it could be made to work on a 9.2" (351C) block as the A351 is the 9.5" (351W) block version.

David,
That looks like a sweet setup. That's actually the same Accufab throttle body that I have. Throttle linkage looks a little different on the bottom, I assume for a rear-engine application.

The Pantera owner I bought my setup from ended up cutting off the top of the linkage arm so it would clear his air cleaner. I contacted Accufab about this. They replaced the linkage, all other moving parts, cleaned everything to new and tested the sensors for nothing more than shipping cost. I love those guys. FAST and a couple of other companies use Accufab TBs with their own branding.

Thanks for the info on Wilson Manifolds. A Ford builder by the name of David McClain mentioned them to me on the phone yesterday. I'll may give them a call when I settle on an intake.

Out of curiosity, how much are you asking for yours? I've read conflicting info that the 9.5" A351 can be cut down to work on a 9.2" Cleveland. If that could be made to work with some Price Motorsport adapter plates on a 400 block, I have a local car buddy that might be interested.
