874 is the model number (Pantera)

00569 is the motor number. This would be stamped on the block.

On the left side of the block directly below the head when looking at it from the back of the car.  If the number matches, that is the motor installed when built.

What year is this car?

It must be early because my s/n 1744 has 0541 in it

Here is the tag from my 1974.  It is interesting how the tag changed over the years.

That is early engine for your vin. Or a late one in mine. 🤔🙂 Engine 00839 for vin #1239

Makes one conclude the factory just pulled motors randomly as they built cars
