Where can I find a diagram or schematic detailing the carburetor linkages for a stock 1974 Pantera? I bought chassis number 6504 five years ago and am just now putting it together. The previous owner had it in his barn for 13 years and it sat in my shop for 5 years waiting... Now it's time. I finished painting in it's original orange in June. Now I'm putting the pieces together. Just wondering how Ford/Detomaso originally designed the carb attachment. I have the cable, spring and an attaching mount. It would be nice to see how it was originally designed to be attached.

Get the Pantera parts book that was produced by Ford. It is an orange cover paperback book that shows all the parts by number. At least use that as a starting place. Then ask this forum for pictures of those that have stock or restored cars that attempted to retain originality.
Thanks, I knew it would be fairly simple, I just didn't know where to look!
Looks great! That's exactly what I needed. Thank you!
The cable on mine appears to be original. I replaced the weak spring at the carb with a stronger dual spring to get the idle to set lower. But the overall feel of the pedal is very light. Will replacing the spring at the pedal give me a firmer/ stronger pedal action ?
