water temp sending unit? location?

Greetings, does anyone have any idea where the water temp sending unit is located? thanks,

stock location is the cooling system pressure tank,but it is better off being moved to the front of the motor above the water pump.your readings will be more accurate...........

Later cars do have the sender above the water pump - so look there too.
