80 min, use a multi weight. Synthetic,
Mobile One, Redline, Royal Purple.

I'm currently using the Royal Purple. It was 9.00 a quart. But I don't see or feel any difference from previous use of Mobile One at 4.00 a quart.

Butfoy told me Castrol 80/90W Hypoy C

Have used exclusively except one change in which I used Valvoline. Could notice the difference. It's like $4.50 a quart at Auto Zone. Good stuff.

Bear in mind that the ZF is a limited slip. While the clutches may be so worn as to not really be doing much by now, you should probably add the limited slip additive with the new oil. Your NAPA store will have it for about $7.

If I remember right RBT told me standard 80/90 wt oil a couple years ago when I had a rebuild done.

Said nothing about the limited slip additive, maybe the engagement is not like traditional GM, Ford, & Mopar rear ends ??

Lloyd told me 80/90 weight and no additive was necessary. I think he said look for 'hypoid' on the container.

I believe the synthetic is more likely to leak.
